New electric vehicle charge points in Kettering are fully operational

Published: Tuesday, 6th October 2020

The new electric vehicle charge points installed earlier this year in the School Lane, London Road and Commercial Road car parks in Kettering are all live and fully operational.

Each location has four specially marked bays each and offers immediate access to charge your electric vehicle on a ‘plug and go’ basis.

Use of the charging points incurs a cost but Kettering Borough Council offer 2-hour charging slots in the marked bays.

Check out our step-by-step guide on how to use our charging points and for more general information.

Note to Editor

BP Chargemaster is the provider for Kettering’s electric vehicle charge points via their Polar network.

If your household or business is interested in installing EV charge points, find out more from the Office of Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV).
