Celebrate Nutrition and Hydration Week with Keep Healthy Kettering and Central England Co-operative
To celebrate Nutrition and Hydration Week from 16th until 22nd March, Keep Healthy Kettering are collaborating with Central England Co-operative to raise awareness and promote a healthier lifestyle.
The Kettering Central England Co-op, located on London Road, are hosting an event from 10am until 3pm on Monday 16th March, which will include a smoothie bike courtesy of Cycle Northants, Co-op fruit kebabs and free health checks and information on healthy eating provided by the Keep Healthy Kettering team.
The event is FREE to attend and a great opportunity to think about your diet and hydration levels and how these could be improved.
Did you know, according to Kettering’s Health and Wellbeing figures, only 46% of adults in the town eat their 5-a-day? Keep Healthy Kettering want to raise awareness of the benefits of healthy eating by encouraging a varied, balanced diet to ensure you have the right nutrients to help reduce risks of ill-health. The event is also a great opportunity to better understand the importance of hydration.
Keep Healthy Kettering will be sharing daily tips throughout Nutrition and Hydration Week on their Twitter and Facebook pages. You can find out more about Keep Healthy Kettering on their website: thisiskettering.com/keephealthy/
