A great day to show your support for better mental health
Kettering Futures Partnership is holding a Pop-Up Shop at 73-75 High Street, Kettering (the old British Heart Foundation Shop) to publicise mental health and wellbeing.
The event will be open from 10am till 3pm on Wednesday, 10th October with a theme of Young People and Mental Health in a Changing World.
So, whether you’re an individual looking to boost your own well-being, or someone seeking advice on supporting the young people you support or work with, the Pop-Up Shop will offer a range of ways to help.
Local organisations, such as Kettering Mind, Credit Union, Citizens Advice, British Red Cross, Groundwork, Kettering Training Services, Tresham and more will be present on the day to offer advice.
Mental health problems can affect anyone, any day of the year, but Wednesday, 10th October is a great day to show your support for better mental health and personal wellbeing.
Councillor Scott Edwards, Kettering Borough Council’s Portfolio Holder for Community and Leisure, said:
“World Mental Health Awareness Day is hugely beneficial for those seeking help or advice regarding any mental health concerns they may have.
