The Museum and Gallery have hosted a number of successful exhibitions and events in the past year including, Collection Connections, The Henry Gotch School Exhibition, 1950’s Fashion and the re-launch of Northants Open Studio Trails, which returns in September. We have run a host of children’s activities and family fun events through the summer and continue to entertain the local community.
The People’s Choice award is part of the prestigious Northamptonshire Museums and Historic Houses Forum Heritage Awards, an annual event, which recognises excellence and showcases achievements within Museums, Galleries and Historic Houses in Northamptonshire.
Kettering Museum and Art Gallery need your support, so if you are a regular visitor or even if you have never visited before, why not drop in to either venue, browse the fantastic exhibitions and register your vote.
Guy Holloway, Head of Corporate & Cultural Services at Kettering Borough Council, said: “We are really relying on our loyal visitors to help spread the word and make Kettering Museum and Art Gallery winner of the People’s Choice Award once again. Although there is some worthy competition, I hope to see us receive the award once again this year, to reflect the events and exhibitions programme put on over the last 12 months”.
