Aviva Women’s Tour, Teenage Market, Kettfest, Kettering By The Sea, Bands in the Park & FREE Parking!

The Aviva Women’s Tour, 19 June!

The Aviva Women’s Tour returns to Northamptonshire for the third consecutive year, this time hosting the final stage of the race on Sunday 19 June. The world’s top female cyclists will race into Kettering Market Place at around 2pm for the finish of the 113km fifth and final stage. 

As well as the Women’s Tour grand finale, a Tour Village will be running along the High Street alongside a market, cycling club races at the Sheep Street finish and a range of additional events including crazy bikes. Our new website has everything you need for visiting Kettering including maps, timings, road closures, parking and other events on the day.

The Teenage Market & Cycle Saturday, 11 June!

The Teenage Market will return to Kettering High Street on Saturday 11 June, between 9am and 5pm, and will see a full day of exciting energy and entertainment alongside a range of bike related activities for Cycle Saturday. There will be a variety of stalls, showcasing local teenage talent, produce and innovative ideas, for all ages to enjoy. Kettfest, 2 July!

Following last year’s successful community event, Kettfest returns from 1-3 July in and around Kettering, brightening the town with art, culture, music and community. To support the event and local businesses, Kettering Borough Council is offering FREE PARKING on Saturday 2 July in its town centre car parks on the day. 

Kettering By The Sea, 21 July – 13 August!

The ever-popular Kettering By The Sea will return to Kettering Market Place for its 12th year from 21 July to 13 August. The giant sand pit will be back for 3 ½ weeks of summer fun, joined by splash fountains, pantomimes, big screen, beach volleyball animals from West Lodge Farm and shows from London Science Museum, plus much more! Keep an eye out on ‘This is Kettering’ on Facebook for more details as they come available and enjoy FREE PARKING in all Council owned car parks, all day on Fridays 29 July, 5 & 12 August!

Bands in the Park, selected Sundays from 12 June!

Head to Rockingham Road Pleasure Park this summer for your chance to enjoy a selection of popular local bands and groups in the bandstand. All performances are on Sundays and start at 3pm, with donations going to Cransley Hospice. New Priorities will kick off the summer programme with the first performance on 12 June and look out for performances from Sonny and the Honey Dippers, Dave Johnson Band and Kettering Silver Band.
