Government - Financial Support
Further Financial Support for Businesses - 31/10/20
On 31 October, the government set out the financial support available due to the impacts of a further national lockdown commencing 5th November 2020 for a period of 4 weeks, which includes:
- Furlough Scheme to be extended
- Business Grants of up to £3,000
The Council will be administering the Business Grants and details of how to claim will be published shortly. Further information will be updated on this webpage.
Government Support
We know a lot of businesses will be struggling and it is essential that they are supported during this time. As well as the grants Kettering Borough Council are implementing to help local businesses, there are a variety of support schemes which we've linked directly that could provide more support:
Business Interruption Loan Scheme - Information provided by British Business Bank on the loan scheme
Covid Corporate Financing Facility - Bank of England advice on corporate financing available
Coronavirus Business Support - Breakdown of financial support schemes available including for the self-employed
Financial Support Finder - Government provided tool to help find financial for businesses and the self-employed
Rent Support - Information on the protections put in place by Government for businesses struggling with rent payments
SEMLEP Grants - A new government support package has been launched to help small and medium sized businesses recover from the financial impact of COVID-19. SEMLEP Growth Hub will be responsible for allocating these grants in the SEMLEP area, when they become available.
