Local Restrictions Support Grant - Open Businesses
Certain businesses who remained open during the period 2nd December 2020 to 4th January 2021 whilst the local area was in Tier restrictions and have been severely impacted financially may be able to apply for a Local Restrictions Support Grant – Open Businesses.
The following businesses impacted by Tier restrictions will be prioritised: Pubs, bars, wine bars, cafes and restaurants, hotels and B&Bs, cinemas, entertainment venues, gyms and tourist attractions, as well as business who supply these sectors. Applications for this grant will be open until 31st January 2021.
Local Restrictions Support Grant – National Lockdown for Closed Businesses
Grants worth up to £4,500 for an initial six week qualifying period along with a one-off top up payment of up to £9,000 could be distributed to businesses with premises forced to close due to national restrictions which applied from 5th January 2021.
You can also use this form to apply for a Local Restrictions Support Grant if your premises was forced to close during the second national lockdown (5th November to 1st December inclusive). Please note that the grant amounts for this period differ from the ones noted above and on the form.
Please note, if your business was previously paid a grant as the premises was required to close during the 2nd national lockdown (5th November to 1st December inclusive), you do not need to complete an application form as we will already have your details to make a further payment to you under the 3rd National Lockdown restrictions.
Local Restrictions Support Grant - Tiers 3 and 4 for Closed Businesses
Grants worth up to £1,500 per fourteen day qualifying period could be distributed to businesses with premises forced to close due to restrictions which applied from 26th December 2020 to 4th January 2021 inclusive.
Businesses affected by the Tier 3 restrictions include pubs, bar, restaurants, cafes and indoor entertainment venues and attractions such as bowling alleys and indoor play areas.
The same businesses listed above were also required to close in Tier 4 with the addition of non-essential retail, gyms, hair and beauty and indoor sports and leisure facilities.
Christmas Support Payment for Wet-Led Pubs
You can now apply for the Christmas Support Payment for Wet-Led Pubs. It is available to wet-led pubs that predominantly serve alcohol rather than provide food and have been severely impacted over the festive season due to Tier 2 restrictions.
Eligible businesses may be entitled to a one-off cash grant of £1,000.
Local Restrictions Support Grant - Tier 2 for Closed Pubs and Bars
Applications for the Local Restrictions Support Grant - Tier 2 is now open. Grants up to £1,500 per 14 day qualifying period could be distributed to pubs and bars forced to close under the Tier 2 restrictions (as the business only involves the sale of alcohol consumed on the premises) from 2nd December 2020 to Boxing Day.
For businesses only required to close under Tier 3 restrictions from 26th December, or under Tier 4 from 31st December, please use the Tiers 3/4 application.
