The public consultation on the proposed improvements to the Community Centre in Pioneer Avenue, Burton Latimer, closed on Friday, 31st July 2020. This gave us insight into residents’ views and we have collated the data so you can access the results of the survey below. Q. What works are proposed to the Community Centre?
We have set out what we are planning to do and why in a consultation leaflet.
More detailed diagrammatic plans of the current layout and proposed layout of the Community Centre are available by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Council has submitted a planning application for the proposed works. The planning process included its own statutory planning consultation and the results of this will also feed into the decision as to how the Council proceeds with the project.
Q. Will my response to the consultation make any difference?
Yes. No binding decisions have yet been made as to how Kettering Borough Council intends to continue with the scheme. The views of residents of Burton Latimer are very important to us and the future of this local community facility.
We are grateful to have had people who currently use the service, as well as people who may not have used the facility before or have not used it for a long time, take the survey and put forward their views.
