Site Specific Part 2 Local Plan
The Site Specific Proposals LDD, now entitled the Site Specific Part 2 Local Plan (SSP2), when adopted, will form part of the North Northamptonshire Development Plan. The Plan will cover the whole of Kettering Borough with the exception of issues addressed in the North Northamptonshire Joint Core Strategy (JCS) and the Area Action Plan for Kettering Town Centre. The Gypsy and Traveller Site Allocation Policy is being progressed outside of the main Part 2 Local Plan.
The SSP2 will allocate land for housing, employment, retail, leisure and community facilities and will contain policies relating to specific areas such as Rothwell, Desborough, Burton Latimer, the villages and towns centres and topics such as Local Green Space, Green Infrastructure and Settlement Boundaries.
The SSP2 was submitted to the Secretary of State on 28 May 2020 for examination by a Planning Inspector..
