Determining the Application

The Planning Officer dealing with the application will visit the site, assess any comments, take account of relevant Planning Policies and may discuss amendments with the applicant (or their agent) before the application is determined.

A decision will not be made within open consultation/publicity periods. However after these time periods have passed then the application will be determined either by:

For each application an officer’s report is produced and this, together with the decision notice, is available through our searchable planning database shortly after the decision is made.

Additionally, anyone who commented on the application will receive a notification letter or email.
