Kettering is a Charter Market with Fridays and Saturdays being the traditional market days, whereupon it becomes a general retail market providing everything from fruit and vegetables to plants and fashion. The market is held in the pedestrianised area of the High Street.
Wednesday is a Flea Market trading second hand, collectables arts and crafts is held in Meadow Road just off the High Street.
Pitches (size 3m x 3m) are available to traders with either the provision of a council owned stall or for traders to provide their own rigs (guidelines apply).
Desborough market is held in the The Square in Desborough town centre. The market is restricted in size but has a busy footfall and traders trade from their own stalls and units.
FOODIE FRIDAY market has started in Kettering, it is held on the 2nd Friday of each month in Kettering High Street between 9am and 4pm. The market sells a feast of locally produced food and drink from across the Borough. Traders and their products will vary with the seasons but the quality available will always be high. Market traders can also benefit from our license to sell alcohol as Kettering Borough Council holds the licence.
We know customers value high quality and fresh produce, therefore it should be produced in ways that conserve the environment and respect animal welfare for example free-range and of course comply with all relevant regulatory standards.
