Recruitment and Selection Policy
This policy supports the council's agreed Equal Opportunities Statement by ensuring that every stage of the recruitment and selection process is carried out in a systematic way to eliminate the potential for personal bias affecting the decision making process. There are seven main stages to the procedure:
- placing advertisements and dealing with enquiries and applicants
- interviewing and selection
- post-selection procedures
