This exhibition at the Manor House Museum will tell you everything you need to know about VE Day and will also share some local stories of wartime Kettering.
Tuesday 8th May 1945 was an emotional day when fighting against Nazi Germany in Europe came to an end. People celebrated the end of the conflict with big celebrations and street parties but it was also a time of reflection and great sadness.
We would love to hear from you if you have any objects which relate to the local area and the period of the Second World War. From military action to domestic life, we would like to reveal as many aspects of wartime Kettering as possible.
Please do not bring items down to the museum as we will not be able to accept them.
