We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Resilience Officer to join the North Northamptonshire Safety and Resilience Partnership. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery and implementation of emergency planning and business continuity services to Kettering, Corby, East Northamptonshire and Wellingborough Council and ensuring we meet our statutory requirements.
You must have experience of working in partnerships with different agencies, the ability to produce plans and reports and have good IT skills. You will have good communication skills, both verbal and in writing and be confident in delivering training and presentations to others. When responding to emergency situations you must be able to work calmly under pressure and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
You will be educated to Further Educational Qualification to Ordinary National Certificate or NVQ level 4 or have equivalent experience. A basic knowledge of emergency planning and business continuity is required although there will be opportunities for further training.
This post is based at Lammas Road, Corby but may work from other North Northamptonshire locations as required.
