Burton Wold community fund

Your Energy, the company who run the Burton Wold wind farm made provision for a community fund as part of its development. This fund will be for the life of the wind farm to deliver energy efficiency projects and education to the local community.

Residents and community groups can apply for funds to either improve the energy efficiency of their homes and buildings or deliver energy efficiency advice and education.

Previous projects

Previous projects include:

• improved energy efficiency of sheltered housing schemes in Burton Latimer
• installation of energy efficient boiler at Civic Centre and Scouts Centre
• solar panels
• energy efficient boiler

Other projects will be considered and subject to available funding.

Apply

Residents and community groups within the electoral ward of Burton Latimer can apply. Projects will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
