Essential Maintenance

We'll be carrying out essential maintenance from 10pm on Tuesday 16 August for up to 3 hours, meaning you won't be able to log in, make payments and submit some forms

Paper Recycling

Paper Recycling has Changed

Kettering Borough Council has changed your recycling services so that all your recyclable waste can be placed in your blue bin for collection.  Residents will no longer need to use their red box to separate out paper.

The change is happening to standardise the service across Corby and Kettering Shared Street Scene Service.  This will also bring the service in line with the other North Northamptonshire Authorities prior to the new Unitary Authority.

Please note that all recyclable goods will still be recycled as normal and there will be no change in the items that are usually disposed of in the blue bins.

We will not be collecting in old red boxes, instead we are encouraging residents to re-use their boxes or give them to a friend or neighbour who might wish to use them for other purposes.  Residents who have red wheelie bins can continue to use them for mixed recycling to provide additional capacity for your blue bin.

Shredded Paper

Shredded paper can be recycled in your blue bin, but it needs to be placed in an paper envelope or paper bag.
