Kettering Borough Council is launching it’s free Christmas tree recycling service.
The service provides free real Christmas tree recycling to every household in the Borough for two weeks beginning the week commencing the 9th January. To benefit from this service all households need to do is place their real Christmas tree alongside either their grey bin or red or blue recycling box on their normal recycling collection day*.
To find out more about recycling, including your collection day and what you can recycle and how please visit www.kettering.gov.uk/recycling or call or visit our Customer Service team who will be happy to help.
Kettering Borough Council is working with garden centres and Christmas tree sellers across the Borough to promote the free recycling collection service. When customers purchase their tree they will be given a small leaflet with details of the free recycling scheme to remind them just how easy it is to recycle their real tree.
Photo opportunity
The press are invited to join Santa and his Council helpers for a photo opportunity to launch the new recycling service at Bosworth's Garden Centre, in Burton Latimer on Tuesday 29th November at 10am.
