Disabled Bowls - A Decade of Success Rolls On

Kettering Borough Council and the Northants’ Bowls Association will be celebrating 10 years of working together on their disabled bowls sessions.
Kettering Borough Council and the Northants Bowls Association will be celebrating 10 years of working together on their disabled bowls sessions. The sessions started in 2002 and have continued to be popular every year.
This years sessions will take place at Ise Valley Pavilion, Grantown Close, on: -
¨ 2nd June
¨ 7th July
¨ 4th August, and
¨ 1st September
The sessions will run from 10am til 12noon.
Head of Community Services, Valerie Hitchman, said: Ten years of success is something everyone can be very proud of and, hopefully, the success will continue for many more years to come.
Councillor Steve Bellamy, Kettering Borough Councils portfolio holder for community and culture said: Ten years of continuous success is a fantastic achievement and is testament to the excellent partnership working relationship that Kettering Borough Council has with its partners. The coaches that work on the sessions are all volunteers who give up their time for free and it is something that we appreciate very much.
The consent form can be downloaded from www.kettering.gov.uk and can be picked up from Kettering Tourist Information Centre and One Stop Shops in Desborough, Rothwell and Burton Latimer.
