Budget Consultation 2010
Published Monday 25th January 10
Almost every homeowner has to pay Council Tax yet very few people know where it goes and how it is used.
Kettering Borough Council is required to collect Council Tax from homeowners by law. The average household in the borough pays around £1,070 a year, the majority of which, about 73%, goes to the County Council to help pay for services such as schools, roads and social services.
