RA of the Future? Local Young Talent

Long Gallery 

Accompanying the RA 250 is an exhibition showcasing local young talent supported by Brooke Weston Academy, Southfield School, Lodge Park Academy and Bishop Stopford School.

This project forms part of RA250 UK: Exhibitions and events around the UK to  celebrate 250 years of the Royal Academy of Arts

Small Gallery

The RA 250 exhibition also commemorates the 60th Anniversary of Charles Spencelayh's death through an accompanying exhibition of Spencelayh's work.

Presented in our Small Gallery from the 20th January until the 10th March.


Permanent Collection Displays


The Alfred East Art Gallery holds a significant collection of 19th and 20th century fine art.

Comprising of works by many notable British artists, and with large collections by Sir Alfred East and Thomas Cooper Gotch, the collection is a valuable resource for research and enjoyment alike.

Please note that only a selection of the permanent collection may be on display at any one time, depending on the current exhibitions.
