DASH Landlord Accreditation Scheme

About the DASH Landlord Accreditation

Kettering Borough Council invites landlords to join the DASH Landlord Accreditation Scheme.

The Council has worked in partnership with DASH (Decent and safe Homes) Services since 2005 and the landlord accreditation (formally known as EMLAS) is a region-wide scheme that encourages and rewards good property standards and management practice in the private rented sector.

Membership normally costs £99 however Landlords in Kettering Borough are able to join FREE of charge and membership will last 3 years.

Who can join?

The scheme is voluntary and open to any residential landlord in the East Midlands Region.

Why join?

  • Recognition: Being a DASH Accredited Landlord will set you apart from the rest. The scheme will provide public recognition that you are a reputable landlord who not only maintains property standards, but who also treats tenants fairly and manages the property well.
  • Market Advantage: Our marketing campaign will ensure that accreditation is understood and widely recognised by current and future tenants.
  • Branding: You will be able to use the logo in adverts and letterheads to promote yourself giving you an edge above the rest.
  • Information: As an accredited landlord you will have access to training and best practice guidance. Landlords can take advantage of our guidance materials and events to enable them to understand fully property management and how to deal with tenancies in an ever changing environment.
  • Supplier Benefits: As an accredited landlord you will have access to a range of specially discounted services which have been negotiated for you by DASH. - See more at: www.dashservices.org.uk/Accreditation/Rewards
