Application Process

Once an application has been submitted and the correct fee paid, it is examined by a validator (member of support and development team), who determine whether or not the application is valid. Once the application is valid it forms part of our public planning register, where the process of the application can be tracked and commented on.
The process for a minor application takes 8 weeks and the process for a major application takes 13 weeks. The case officer will have up until the expiry date of either week to make a decision.
