W T Wright (1851-1917) was the nephew of Sir Alfred East and the first Honorary Curator of the Alfred East Art Gallery. The Gallery collection now contains a large number of Wright's watercolours of Kettering from the late 19th and early 20th century. Several local families have been invited to make their own selection from these paintings and produce their own response to the work or to research aspects of his life. This is a MLA Renaissance East Midlands Flagship Volunteer Providers initiative.
