Free health checks for all on 1st March!

FREE Health Checks and FREE massage is being offered in Kettering town centre!

This offer is open to anyone who wants to know their level of health, and also have the opportunity of a free massage and advice about a healthy diet.

At No.1 Horsemarket in Kettering town centre, only on Thursday 1st March from 9am to 4:15pm, Kettering Borough Council and Moulton College will provide all residents with a health screen which involves no public weighing, and no need to make an appointment, just drop-in and you will receive your own personal assessment record with advice and tips.  The health check includes blood pressure, your healthy weight, smoking and alcohol levels, lifestyle assessment and diet analysis.  Following your health check, those wanting to know more about their level, or just want to chat about how to improve bits of their healthy lifestyle will have the opportunity to discuss this with trained professionals.

Please note:  Massage therapy is only available 9am to 12 noon.

Val Hitchman, Head of Community Services at Kettering Borough Council said "This is an amazing opportunity to see how the New Year health kicks have been going, or just to keep up-to-date with your blood pressure checks, and it's all free, just drop in!"

Moulton College Personal Training Academy will also be in Kettering town Centre Thursday offering free MOT health checks, nutrition and weight management advice, sports specific training knowledge and free massage therapy.  James Coe, Moulton College lecturer said "Come on the day and meet the personal trainers and make the start to improved fitness and healthy living!
