Bus Passes
Concessionary Travel: Changes to the application process
This will include all applications, any queries from
existing pass holders and renewal of passes. Applications will be
taken
at one of the County Council's libraries and will are longer be
available from
Kettering Borough Council. The county council is
providing concessionary travel in line with the Government's
statutory minimum level. You will be eligible for free travel
off peak.
Off-peak is between 9.30 am and 11.00 pm Monday to Friday all day at
weekends
and on public holidays. If you have a companion pass please contact
the County Council.
Kettering Borough Council remains the only borough or district in the country to offer its Leisure Pass on the back of the bus pass. This will remain unchanged.
If your pass is due to expire at the end of March 2013 because you were one of the first to benefit from the over 60's national concessionary bus pass scheme when it was introduced in 2008, please read the Concessionary bus pass renewal information on the Northamptonshire County Council website
If you have any queries about the new scheme further information is available from Northamptonshire County Council on 0300 126 1000, by visiting their website or by visiting your local library.
