Work readiness and employability programmes and providers:
- Kettering Community Unit (KCU) provide free training and education courses to develop skills to help people back into employment or to generally improve their quality of life.
- Work Readiness Action Programme (WRAP) Aimed at 16-29 year olds not in education, employment or training to help them overcome the barriers stopping them from fulfilling their potential, attending education or getting into work.
Apprenticeships and further support for Young People
- Kettering Borough Training (KBT) the only local authority training provider in Northamptonshire delivering Study Programme and Apprenticeships committed to supporting the development of local businesses and young people in the community by providing high quality training, support and guidance.
- Talent Match is a programme funded by the Big Lottery Fund that is tackling long-term youth unemployment in Kettering and the surrounding towns/villages
