Poll Cards
Poll cards for each election are sent to electors qualifying addresses as soon as possible after the publication of the Notice of Election.
For a General Election or a European Election they will include details of the Parliamentary Constituency or Region.
For a Council Election they will include details of the local ward, electoral division or Parish area in which the election is being held. They also include information about electors' names, qualifying addresses and their number on the Register of Electors.
Details of the Polling Station at which an elector has to vote and polling hours are also included, along with any other information the Returning Officer considers appropriate, such as a map showing the location of the Polling Station.

Poll Cards are also sent to electors' proxy voters giving details of where they should go to vote, and the person on whose behalf they are voting.
